• Standard Math: We are now in our last unit of study, Investigating Probability and Statistical Questions.  Students will investigate chance processes and develop, evaluate, and use probability models to find probabilities of simple events in authentic situations (AKS 6) and design, collect, model, and analyze data from a representative sample to answer statistical questions and solve relevant, math problems (AKS 7).

In addition to reviewing their daily lessons, students are preparing for the GA Milestones assessment by reviewing this year's concepts and skills through daily warm up problems in class and via Delta Math at home.

Please ensure your student completes 5 problems daily on Delta Math.

• Social Studies: Students will begin exploring the religious and ethnic groups of South and East Asia by analyzing primary, secondary sources, graphs and charts. Students will also be revisiting population distribution and density while applying the concept to the region. 

• Language Arts: Students will continue in Unit 5 - "More than a Game", answering the essential question: "How do sports bring together friends, families and communities?".
