GCPS Position Statement

AI is rapidly impacting the workforce, society, and even education. GCPS students and staff must be future-ready by understanding AI and demonstrating responsible and ethical use of AI. We believe that uses of AI should always start with human inquiry and end with human reflection, human insight, and human empowerment. AI can be a useful tool to augment and enhance our work and learning, but humans must be in the loop of use and decision making. We believe that an important element of future-readiness for the GCPS community is to be responsible, ethical, and critical when leveraging AI tools.
