Welcome to 4th grade! I have been teaching 4th grade here at Root since 2009! I currently have a masters degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am also a National Board Certified teacher in literacy. I am currently pursuing a masters degree to become a reading specialist with an emphasis in dyslexia. I teach the writing and word study on the 4th grade team.

I am married to my husband Jamie and we have two daughters, Katelyn & Charlotte. We enjoy traveling, watching sports, going to the movies, and hanging out with family & friends.
