The education and health of FPS students and staff are very important! Fayetteville Public Schools will be closed from March 16 - April 17.

Spring Break will be between March 23-27.
No AMI Assignments will be given to students during Spring Break.

Fayetteville Public Schools has been approved by the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education to implement a plan for Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) to be used on days if school is closed, due to exceptional or emergency circumstances.

Students and families should access Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Lessons here.

By implementing the Alternative Methods of Instruction plan, Fayetteville Public Schools strives to continue student learning in an effective and efficient manner while maintaining the 2019-2020 school calendar.

This will prevent as many additional school days being added to the end of the school year.
