As a student with Essex IQ, you’ll get a fun, in-person, robotics/engineering experience in just three weeks! We’ll start with core concepts and fundamentals, then we’ll work our way up to building and programming a complete robot to compete against other teams. You’ll be surrounded by high school mentors with experience in different STEM fields and other students who are as excited to learn as you are. And you’ll also get a chance to explore beyond our robotics curriculum — we hope to offer chances to learn more about 3D printing, game design, AI, and more.
The camp will take place from June 28th to July 16th, and every day will provide a mix of instruction and work time to help you learn new skills and apply them. We’ll be working mostly with VEX IQ equipment, but will use other resources as necessary to give you the best possible experience.
