Recent advancements in metrology using levitated systems are opening new pathways toward the realization of macroscopic quantum systems. Building on this progress, the Japan-Singapore joint research project launched in April 2026 under the JST-A*STAR joint call aims to develop ultralow-vibration platforms by integrating advanced vibration isolation with optical and magnetic levitation systems.
This kickoff workshop aims to share the overall vision and clarify the roles of participating institutions in achieving this goal. The workshop also seeks to foster the involvement of early-career researchers and students, establishing a foundation for interdisciplinary collaboration and training.
You can register yourself from this link (registration deadline April 10 April 17).
No registration fee is required (small fee for drinks for the reception will be collected).
The workshop will be held at Room 1116, located at the first floor of the Faculty of Science Building #4 in Hongo Campus of the University of Tokyo.
You can find the access information from UTokyo Access and Campus Maps page or Google Maps.
