MS8 mini-WS on Mathematical weather control and prediction

Welcome to Moonshot Goal 8 mini-Workshop on Mathematical weather control and prediction! This workshop focuses on mathematical methods to contribute to predict and control complex atmospheric systems. The potential topics are, but not limited to:

- Data assimilation
- Uncertainty quantification
- Machine learning
- Model predictive control
- Dynamic systems theory

Registration

Only Moonshot Goal 8 project members are eligible to participate in this workshop. Please register by Google Form below. If you would like to present, your deadline is Sep 1, 2025. If you would like to present your work, provide title and (short) abstract. Since the abstract is used just to arrange the order of presenters, simple and short ones are acceptable. If we receive too many presentation applications, slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you will not present, the registration is open until Oct 10, 2025.
