My name is Claire Springer and I am the proud principal of Sandbrock Ranch Elementary.  This is my 12th year in education and my 8th year in leadership. I am married to a middle school principal and a mom to Georgia & Mollie. I believe with my whole heart, "if it is not good enough for my own child, it is not good enough for yours!"

My roots are Denton, TX: I grew up in Denton ISD schools, graduating from Denton High School.  I am a proud alum of Oklahoma State University and a current doctoral student at The University of North Texas.  I spent my first four years as a 1st & 3rd grade classroom teacher in Frisco ISD before making my home back in Denton ISD.  I truly live out my life calling each and every day as an educator and am extremely passionate about meeting the needs of your children.  

Sandbrock Ranch Elementary is a special school that is rooted in the mission of 'Building the hearts and minds of Champions to become courageous, compassionate, and committed learners.' We are a learner-centered school with a focus on building leadership capacity in our students every single day. Every student and staff member belong to a stable of a Champion horse- Appaloosas, Clydesdales, Galineers, Ponies, Mustangs, and Shires. We are committed to building micro-communities with a keen awareness of connectivity and relationships, as well as high levels of learning for ALL kids!
