Meet the Director

Belinda grew up in a military family and married a military man, but has put down roots in Denton, TX. She and her husband have seven children, three of whom are still at home. Belinda graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Theatre, emphasis in Acting/Directing, Certificate in Musical Theatre. She worked for Theatre Denton Theatre School for five years, three as their Education Coordinator in charge of all youth programming. When she realized how much she missed her students after a particularly busy summer and not-busy-at-all fall semester, Belinda decided to become a middle school teacher. When the opening at Strickland Middle School became available, she took a leap and landed as a Viking!
