My name is Julia Jelinek and I am so excited to start the 24'-25' year! 

I got my degree at UNT and this will be my 4th year in 2nd grade. My husband and I have 3 dogs Oliver, Charlie, and Kane.

My goal is to provide a fun and engaging learning environment that fosters growth. 

My name is Olivia Thompson, and I am so excited to be joining the 2nd grade team this year! This will be my third year at Savannah Elementary. I spent my first two years in third grade. 

I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Math Education from BYU-I. In my freetime, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, baking, crafting, reading, and playing card games. 

I am excited for a year full of learning and growing altogether. 

 My name is Katey Matney, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my 2nd year teaching 2nd grade at Savannah. In my free time, I love exploring new places and walking my dog, Hunter.

 I hope to make this a fun year with lots of growth. I look forward to getting to know you all!

My name is Tralonda Thomas and I've completed 9 years of teaching multiple grades and by far, 2nd grade is my favorite. I'm really looking forward to doing many fun activities.

My name is Richard Jacob and I am beginning my 10th year at Savannah Elementary. This will be my 4th year in 2nd grade!

I am looking forward to teaching another wonderful group of students this school year.

My name is Ash-Lee Covey and I'm so excited to be joining 2nd grade at Savannah for the 24-25 school year! This will be my 10th year teaching. I graduated from UNT with my Bachelor's in 2015 and again with a Master's in Educational Psychology in July.
