Navo Leadership Academy was founded to help mentor and develop middle school students into leaders on campus, in the classroom, in the community, and at home. We have also partnered with BELL Leadership Academy at Bell Elementary to continue to develop those students who have participated in their academy while attending Bell. Our purpose and goal is to provide mentorship and leadership opportunities to students on campus to develop as leaders socially, academically, and culturally. By providing a platform to develop, mentor, and hold accountable young men, the goal is to develop a climate and culture of servant leadership that positively impacts the campus and community.

Students will meet with their mentors during each meeting to discover and discuss how they can apply these values and habits. We will also be utilizing the Lead 4 Change Student Leadership program. More information on this can be found at https://www.lead4change.org.
Mentors: Students will have mentors that they will work with throughout the year. Each grade level will have 1-2 mentors assigned for those in each grade. The goal is to have mentors on campus to help students develop as leaders and to have a go to person when/if they need it.
For students in the 8th grade that show exceptional leadership, they will have an opportunity to mentor 6th grade students.
First Meeting: September 22 after school in Ms. Simpson and Mr. Power's rooms.
