A 40 minute, multiple-choice test. Questions may be answered in any order and cover a range of topics in math, from Algebra to beyond. 6 points for each correct answer, -2 points for each incorrect answer.
A 30 minute, free-response test. All answers must be written in scientific notation (which the calculator will do for you). A mix of numerical and geometrical problems. Questions may not be skipped. 5 points for every problem attempted, -7 points for incorrect answers, -2 points for incorrect significant digit questions. Skipped problems are counted as incorrect.
A 10 minute test. Questions must be answered in order (no skipping), and is graded for accuracy and number of questions answered. No stray marks, no scratch paper, no calculator. 5 points for each problem attempted, -9 points for each incorrect answer. Skipped problems are counted as incorrect. Test can be taken in pencil or pen and no eraser marks can be made. Legible handwriting is important.
