Hi everyone! I am so excited to have you in my class this year! My name is Alycia Emerson and I will be teaching 3rd grade.  This is my sixth year teaching in Denton ISD. I just recently got my Masters in Educational Technology from Texas State and I am so excited to bring some fun new things to the classroom this year. 

My husband Dave and I have been married for 5 years and have a cute goldendoodle named Woodford. We love to travel and see new places. If we can bring Woodford with us, we love to have him adventure with us. 

A fun fact about me is that I am a 4th degree black belt in Martial Arts. I would love to get my 5th degree soon.
