Mrs. Stephanie Dixson
4th Grade | Math, Science, & Social Studies
Hi 4th grade family! I am Stephanie Dixson: wife to my husband, A'Doriyun, of eleven years, mom of three (Roman-10, Coral-8, and Lenox-4) and lover of education. I'm super excited to be teaching your kiddos this year! I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. After having my own children, I know what it's like to send the best parts of you away every day. I am honored to be able to spend those precious hours with them and treat them as if they were my own.
After staying home for a few years with my own children, I was eager to get back into the classroom environment and love on my students. This will be my tenth year teaching and think Savannah is the sweet spot.
On the weekends you can find me with my family and running my kids to their sporting events. I love soaking up the time that I have with them. You'll soon learn that I love people and value relationships.
I knew since the third grade that I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. I'd often play "school" with my younger siblings at home. My teacher, Ms. Flood, helped me fall in love with school. However, I am currently is graduate school to become a school counselor because I see a growing need to provide social and emotional support. My goals are for every student to enjoy coming to school each day, to help them fall in love with learning, and to know that I will forever be their advocate. I cannot wait for all of the fun that we're going to have this year at Savannah!
