Welcome Pecan Creek Families to the 2017-2018 School Year.
I am Kristi McDaris and I’m looking forward to serving Pecan Creek as your Assistant Principal.
I began my educational journey 19 years ago, after earning my Bachelors of Science degree and teacher certification, as a classroom teacher in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. In 2010 I earned my Masters in Education and obtained my Principal Certification. I began working in Denton ISD in 2012 and knew I had found my home. Before becoming an Assistant Principal here at Pecan Creek, I served Denton ISD as a District Math Coach. I am looking forward to growing partnerships with staff, families, and our community.
I am married to an amazing man, Matt McDaris, and we have one child…Gunnar McDaris who was born in August of 2011. I am looking forward to sharing my family with you and getting to know yours.
