Denton ISD is unique in that we have two different email addresses - One for Microsoft products (username@dentonisd.org) and one for Google (username@g.dentonisd.org). In order to automatically receive emails from your Google Account to Microsoft, we recommend that you set up forwarding.
The links below provide information on various aspects of using Outlook:

In Google Chrome, navigate to your managed bookmarks and click on "DISD HEAT Technology Ticket"
Log in with your district credentials
On the home page, select the icon labeled "Submit a HEAT Ticket"
Select the only item available on the "Service Catalog" page to create a new ticket
For more information about submitting Heat Tickets, please click here.
On a district Phone, dial 1234. (940-369-1234 on a cell phone) Listen to the automated voice system and when prompted, enter your Employee ID, found on your district badge. At the next prompt, dial 1. The system will then ask you for the last four digits of your Social Security Number. This is for authentication purposes. The system will read back your temporary password.
If you have set up recovery questions on your SSO Account, you should be able to follow the link, "Help, I forgot my password," under the log-in field on the SSO Login Page. *This option only works if you've set up your security questions prior*
If you're on a district desktop computer, you can use the button combination on your keyboard, Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Select Change a password. You must know your old password to reset it, so this option won't work if you don't know or remember your current password.
The Campus Support Technician who services your campus has the ability to change and reset passwords. The Librarian of each campus will also be able to do this. If you cannot get in contact with either of these people, you can contact the Service Desk by dialing 1234 on a district phone. (940-369-1234 on a cell phone)
Our SSO or Single-Sign-On Platform (Classlink) is a "one-stop-shop" for all resources in Denton ISD. This is our portal to access multiple web-based software systems, textbooks, instructional programs, digital resources, and much more! You can access our SSO by going to www.Dentonisd.org/SSO.
🌟 QUICK TIP 🌟
To easily access the SSO click on the "little house" 🏠 in between the refresh button and the search bar on the top left of your internet browser!
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your online accounts. Verifying your identity using a second factor (like your phone or other mobile device) prevents anyone but you from logging in, even if they know your password.
When logging in to an application that is protected by Duo, you will still enter your username and password. After inputting your login information, Duo requires you to complete a method of second-factor authentication. Our preferred method and the most convenient way to accomplish this is through the Duo smartphone app (do NOT use your classroom phone extension).
The only personal data that Duo Mobile knows about you are the service accounts that you explicitly add to Duo Mobile.
To learn more about Duo, please visit the Technology Services Page or call the Service Desk at X1234.
Teacher Access Center is your online gradebook. This is where you will take attendance, record grades, and communicate with parents. This TAC Site has a collection of resources to get you started!
The safety of our staff and students is of utmost importance in Denton ISD. In order to maintain a safe learning environment, we require yearly completion of compliance training for all Denton ISD Staff through a platform called Safe Schools.
Please check your emails for instructions and follow this link to get started.
