Digital Citizenship is about helping students use technology wisely, safely, and purposefully. Each October, schools across the nation recognize Digital Citizenship Week, launched by Common Sense Media to raise awareness about responsible and ethical technology use.
While participation is optional, this week is a great opportunity to spark meaningful discussions with students about how their digital choices impact their learning and well-being!

Through this site, families will find practical tips, conversation starters, and trusted resources to support students’ digital habits, online safety, and balanced technology use. It’s designed to help parents and guardians engage in meaningful discussions and foster responsible digital behavior at home.
Through four short, self-paced lessons, students reflect on their digital habits, communication choices, and online safety. Each activity promotes responsible technology use and digital balance in a fun, interactive way. The lessons are optional but offer an easy, engaging way to spark meaningful conversations in any classroom.
Through four short, age-appropriate lessons, elementary students explore key topics like Digital Wellness, Digital Etiquette, Digital Safety, and Digital Responsibility. Each activity includes a K–2 and 3–5 version designed to spark meaningful discussions and promote responsible technology use. The lessons are optional, flexible, and easy to integrate into your classroom routines.

Digital Wellness refers to a healthy, balanced use of technology. Our learners are encouraged to develop healthy habits that support their well-being in a digital world.
