Due to recent budgetary limitations and vendor pricing increases, the TIMA committee made the difficult decision not to renew our Seesaw Premium licenses beyond September 2024. We understand the value Seesaw brings to student learning, and we spent the semester negotiating a renewal at a reasonable cost. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we couldn't reach an agreement with Seesaw.
We are committed to supporting teachers and students during this transition. Teachers will still have access to Seesaw's free version, and for campuses heavily reliant on Seesaw, we can explore single-campus licensing options. Please let us know if you'd like to be connected with our district Seesaw representative for a quote.
The free version of Seesaw will continue to be available, and the Digital Learning Team will be available to support. Submit a Heat Ticket or contact us at: digitallearning@dentonisd.org.

Teachers will still have access to the activities currently in their libraries, but if teachers have more than 100+ activities, they will not be able to create any more activities.

Individual Family Messaging
🚩If you're having issues viewing messaging, please You enable this in your Classroom Settings > Enable Family Access.
Teachers will no longer have access to scheduled activities, drafts, or the progress dashboard.
Teachers will not be able to edit activities that have frames, multipage, or formative assessment built into the activity, but they will still be able to assign the activity.
There is no school or district library. Therefore, teachers will need to save any activities (👈 Click the link) created at the district or team level to their library in order to maintain access.
Limitations include: 10 Active Classes, 2 Teachers per Class, and 150 Students per Class
We will have access to Seesaw until the end of September 2024. That will be the deadline to archive all content.
