We now offer Canva Pro through Canva for Education! Every staff member has premium access linked to their Microsoft (@dentonisd.org) email account. If you’re currently using Canva through Google, you can share your designs to your Microsoft account to unlock the Pro features.

Interested in creating in Canva, but still wanting to utilize Google Slides? These instructions discuss that process!

Do students have canva accounts?

For now, students will continue using Canva with standard (non-Pro) access. This is due to the way we currently roster student accounts through the SSO. We’re actively working on expanding access to them!

Teachers have premium accounts through the SSO and your Microsoft email. We are working with Canva to get students access to premium features as well. Because students do not technically have accounts, you cannot assign them work in Canva.

For now, you can still share designs with them via the share link or if you want them to have their own copy, you can share a template link with them. Students sign into Canva with their Google Accounts.
