Welcome!

I'm Mariella Alvarado, your school counselor.  I have been an educator and school counselor for 29 years.  I received my Bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders from UT Austin and my Masters of Education from UT RGV in Edinburg.  My classroom experience is in special education, deaf education, and inclusion instruction PK-8.  My counseling experiences range from PK-12th grades.  I've been married to Armando for 31 years and we have 3 children and a grandbaby.
