Hello Indian Springs Families!

My name is Karen Sanchez and I am so excited to have the opportunity to be your 4th grade reading teacher this year! This will be my 13th year teaching, and my first year here at Indian Springs! I'm so thrilled to be here!

Please allow me to tell you more about myself. I began my teaching career in Austin ISD for 10 years after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007, and I taught in Round Rock ISD for the past two years. I taught 1st grade my very first year, and 3rd grade for the last twelve years! My four-year-old son, Bradley and I just moved to San Antonio this summer. We have had a fun summer enjoying the outdoors and our time together with family :)

Fourth grade is going to be a blast!! I am so looking forward to getting to know all of you this year and having so much fun learning and reading together!! I will be team teaching with Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Blundon.
