The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is one of the most popular museums in Spain, with over 250 different works of art from the contemporary period. It holds these art pieces in 20 different galleries across three separate floors. It is made out of titanium, limestone, and glass, with a height of 187 feet tall and 24,000 m^2. Its appearance was designed to instill a feeling of constant motion within a static work using many curves featured in the roof and walls. The Museum itself was created by Frank Gehry, the construction lasted between 1991 and 1997, and it was inaugurated by King Juan Carlos I on October 18th, 1997.
