Frank Lloyd Wright
Wright was an American architect, designing more than 1,000 buildings. Lloyd was born in Richland Center, Wisconsin on June 8th, 1867. His parent divorced when he was 18 and worked in the University while also studying there. At age 22 he married his wife Catherine Lee Tobin. He was commissioned to build Fallingwater in 1935 and started making the plans in 1936 and started construction that same year. The building was finished in 1936 and the guest house was finished in 1939.He died in Phoenix Arizona on April 9th, 1959 due to cardiovascular health issues.

Exhibition for Fallingwater are opened at Museum of Modern Art
Fallingwater is made of reinforced concrete, steel, sand stone, and glass. Fallingwater was built between 1936-1939 and was designed by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. It was built for the Kaufmann family. It was built on top of a waterfall in Mill Run, Pennsylvania. It took about $155,000 to build the Fallingwater which is about the equivalent to about 2.6 million in 2015. Currently it is entrusted to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
