The shrine is very important to Islamic, Jewish, and Abrahamic faith. Talmud believed that god created the world from the rock, the catholic bible says it was where Abraham was tested by god to kill his own son, and the Quaran believe that this is where Muhammed ascended to god on his night journey. The place is decorated with multiple Surah Ikhlas, which are decorated colors under the dome's rim. There is also eight pillars holding up the building, 4 of which are dedicated to telling the 4 different seasons.There is also 12 columns, representing the 12 months.
