I am excited to help your Stallion reach their potential! Prior to becoming a school counselor, I taught PreK, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade. I love working with children! This is my fifth year at Clear Spring Elementary. I offer small group counseling that focuses on: self-regulation, self-confidence, managing feelings, family changes and grief. Permission slips will be sent to all caregivers prior to working with students in small groups. I teach guidance lessons in all classrooms which allow students to explore social and emotional skills. I can offer resources for individual counseling if your child needs access to a licensed professional counselor. I look forward to an amazing year!

I believe all students can achieve their potential when provided with a safe, nurturing learning environment. Student's social and emotional skills can impede or empower their academic success. Through Solution Focused Brief counseling, I assist students to search for their hidden sources of strength and assist them in achieving their goals.

Vision Statement: I will advocate to support all students' academic, social and emotional needs by implementing the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling program to ensure one year's academic growth.

Mission Statement: The school counseling department at Clear Spring Elementary School will support all students' social, emotional and academic needs by implementing the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling.
