Welcome to my homeroom class! Here are a few things that will help you to get to know me as we work together this year. I have taught 19 years and moved four years ago from Virginia to Texas to be closer to family. I have had most of my teaching experience in the upper grades. ELA is my passion and I enjoy sharing my love for reading and writing with the students. I love buying and searching for new books or titles to add to our class library. Whenever you are in doubt as to what you should do, READ. Just by reading 20 minutes each night, it continues to support your child's literacy and learning. I look forward to partnering with you, as we continue to create teachers, scientists, and leaders of the future.
