Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Plan

The DEI plan serves as the individual artifact for YDP 8060: Youth Development in the Context of a Global & Diverse Society. For this assignment, we had to create a DEI plan specifically for our organization. I valued that this course helped us gain an understanding of diversity, and cultural awareness/sensitivity from both a Western and non-Western perspective. This opened my lens a lot wider and made me make deeper realizations and considerations when planning programs that are universally designed. I am applying this by making careful considerations when selecting locations for programs so that they better accommodate everyone.
