Evaluation vs. Assessment Recap

The evaluation vs. assessment recap serves as the collaborative artifact for YDP 8040: Assessments & Evaluations. Throughout this course, we developed skills for creating comprehensive program evaluations. In this group recap, we differentiated between assessment & evaluation frameworks and discussed as a class how we could apply these approaches to practice. I found the characteristics of evaluation to be noteworthy. Knowing that evaluations have a purpose, context, and consequences helped me take evaluations a lot more seriously in my work.
