About the Conference
The Clemson University Data Science Conference is an ideal opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to learn more about the future of data science, hear from industry leaders about the role of data science, and participate in a data contest. The conference will provide a platform for participants to share knowledge, network, and improve skills. This year's conference theme is "Data Driven Future".
Atendees may participate in a Career Fair, Networking Events, Demonstrations, Panel Discussions, and a Data Contest.
Recommended registration deadline - April 21, 2023.
Any undergraduate, graduate student, or DSA alumni are welcome to participate in the conference. You do not have to be a Clemson student to attend.
Conference registration is $10.
Clemson University Masters in Data Science and Analytics students and alumni may attend for FREE.
Attire for the conference is business casual.

Ishita Majumdar is the VP of Data Analytics Platforms in eBay’s Core Technology organization. She leads a diverse team of data engineers and scientists and software developers to ensure efficient collection, organization, access and interpretation of all of eBay’s transactional and behavioral data. She is highly respected in eBay for her vast technology expertise, proactive customer engagement and execution prowess.
She is a 20-year industry veteran with deep experience in architecture, strategy, product management and data modeling in Telco (Motorola, IBM, Huawei) and start up accelerators (Plug and Play Tech Accelerator).
Ishita is a champion for diversity and inclusion and actively invests in growing girls in tech, and women in tech.

She holds a BS (Math) from Jadavpur University in India, MS (Math) from Northern Illinois University, MS (Operations Research) from Clemson University, and an MBA from University of Chicago. Ishita has 3 patents and various technology publications.
Ishita led the Women-In-Tech “Community of Inclusion” at eBay from 2015-2019 and remains an advisor and active leader for Women@eBay. She was selected as the TechWomen mentor by the US Department of State in 2013. She was a finalist in Women of the Year and Diversity Initiative of the Year by WomeninITawards in 2019, and SVBJ 2020 Women of Influence in 2020. She is an avid tech and
diversity speaker and mentor to many.
Ishita lives in the Bay Area with her daughter, her husband and her 4 year old dog, living life with a glass
full of optimism and humor.
