The annual Huawei ICT Competition provides not only an international competition, but a communication platform for college students in Huawei ICT Academies and higher education institutions within the Huawei ICT Academy Program. Through this competition, Huawei aims to challenge the students' ICT knowledge as well as practical and application skills, and ultimately, inspire innovation.
With the theme of "Connection, Glory, Future", the Huawei ICT Competition will gather governments, higher educational institutions, training institutions, and industry enterprises, to promote the cultivation, growth, and employment of ICT young professionals from universities and colleges, helping the ICT talent ecosystem thrive.
ECE students who entered the competition were awarded a Rising Star Award and got the third place at Huawei ICT Competition 2019-2020 Global Finals.

The Batangas State University entered a team consisting of chosen ECE students to join the Hackathon Competition. They took the championship at the Regional Hackathon Competition and sixth place at the National at BatStateU Main Campus I, October 30-31, 2019.

This event is conducted by the Office of Student Affairs and Services- Main Campus II to promote anti-drug awareness to students. The Mechatronics Engineering Students Society(MEXESS) got the first place at this event.
