目的/Purpose 

為推廣光電科技及鼓勵高中學生進行光學或光電相關之探究學習，並將成果以海報展示的方式進行交流，以培養學生科技素養，增進英語表達技巧以及未來探究光電科技相關議題的興趣與能力，舉辦此次「2025高中生光電英文海報競賽」。

To promote optoelectronic technology and encourage high school students to engage in optics or photonics-related inquiry-based learning, and to exchange their findings through poster presentations, this competition aims to cultivate students' scientific literacy, enhance their English communication skills, and stimulate their interest and ability in exploring photonics technology-related topics in the future. This is the purpose of the "2025 High School Photonics English Poster Competition. 

競賽流程/Competition Process

1. 報名及上傳海報檔案(限以英文呈現)。

2. 經主辦單位初步篩選(研究主題 40%、創意學術與實用價值60%)後，挑選20組為原則進入決賽，並email通知每一組組長。

3. 主辦單位將邀請國內外光電相關領域專家學者擔任決賽評審，決賽限以英文發表及進行交流。

1.Registration and submission of poster files (must be in English) are required. 

2.After the initial screening by the organizer (with 40% weight on the research topic and 60% weight on creativity, academic, and practical value), at most 20 teams will be selected to advance to the finals, and each team leader will be notified via email. 

3.The organizer will invite domestic and international experts and scholars in the field of optoelectronics to serve as judges for the finals. The final presentations and exchanges will be conducted in English only.

參加資格/Participation Qualifications 

1. 114學年度第一學期在學之全國公私立高中職學生。

2. 組隊報名，每組至少1人、至多3人（不包含指導老師），且每位學生限投稿一次。

1. All national public and private high school and vocational school students currently enrolled in the first semester of the 2025 academic year. 

2.Team registration: Each team must have at least 1 member and no more than 3 members (excluding the instructor), and each student is limited to submitting only one entry.

決賽流程/Finals Process 

1. 參與高中生請於2025年8月23日上午9:30前至國立中山大學國研大樓1樓大廳完成現場報到，並參加光電科普教學工作坊。

2. 全程參與工作坊之高中生將授予中華民國光電學會參與證書。

3. 9:30至10:30進行英語海報發表，各隊需至少有一名學生進行海報發表。

4. 10:30至12:00為光電科普教學工作坊活動。

5. 頒獎典禮將於12:00至12:30在華立廳舉行。

1.High school students participating in the event should complete on-site registration at the lobby on the 1st floor of the International Research Building, National Sun Yat-sen University, by 9:30 AM on August 23, 2025, and attend the Photonics science workshop. 

2.High school students who participate in the entire workshop will be awarded a certificate of participation from the Taiwan Photonics Society. 

3.From 9:30 to 10:30, the English poster presentations will take place. Each team must have at least one student to give the English poster presentation. 

4.From 10:30 to 12:00, there will be an Photonics science workshop. 

5.The award ceremony will be held from 12:00 to 12:30 in the Huali Hall. 

海報格式/Poster Format 

海報尺寸為A0（841*1189 mm），呈現以圖像、表格及重點文字為佳（限以英文呈現）

The poster size should be A0 (841*1189 mm) and should primarily feature images, tables, and key points (must be presented in English only). 

獎項與評審標準/Awards and Judging Criteria 

1. 評審結果將於2025年8月23日下午12:00華立廳現場頒獎典禮公布。

2. 評審標準：研究主題(30%)、創意學術與實用價值 (30%)、海報內容及表達能力 (40%)。

3. 選出：特優(1組)、優等(2組)及佳作數名，並頒發獎狀。

4. 參與決賽學生皆可獲得中華民國光電學會參賽證明。

1.The judging results will be announced at the award ceremony on August 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM in Huali Hall. 

2.Judging criteria: Research topic (30%), creativity, academic and practical value (30%), poster content and presentation skills (40%). 

3.Awards will be given to: one Best Award (1 team), two Excellent Awards (2 teams), and several Honorable Mentions, with certificates presented. 

4.All students participating in the finals will receive a certificate of participation from the Taiwan Photonics Society. 

注意事項/Important Notices 

1. 大會將協助輸出決賽海報。

2. 參賽作品如有抄襲、研究成果不實、侵犯他人智慧財產權或違反其他相關法令規定者，一律取消受獎資格，並自負法律責任。

3. 參與本活動之高中生及陪同家人或師長，需自付交通費。

4. 如有未盡事宜，請參考網頁公告。

1.The organizer will assist with printing the final posters. 

2.Any entries found to be plagiarized, containing false research results, infringing on others' intellectual property rights, or violating other relevant laws and regulations will be disqualified from receiving awards and the participants will be held legally responsible. 

3.High school students participating in this event, along with accompanying family members or teachers, are responsible for their own transportation costs.
