Small Support Groups

Small support groups at Hawthorn Elementary are held during the school day. Each group typically meets once a week and runs for 6-10 weeks. Students can be referred for small groups by parents or teachers.

Each year I run a variety of different groups, with topics including friendship, social skills, worry/stress management, emotional regulation, family changes, grief management, and self-esteem. Students who are experiencing difficulty in these areas which are impacting them socially/academically at school may benefit from the groups.

If you have questions about small support groups at HES or are interested in having your child participate in one, please feel free to contact me.
