Below, you will find pictures that REPRESENT A SAMPLE of the type of pictures and coverage that one can expect in the 2022-2023 yearbook.  If you failed to purchase one this year, order NEXT YEAR'S yearbook at registration in the Fall. Remember, these are JUST SAMPLES.

Fall Sports And Activities

South Side had a variety of things happen fall 2022. Starting with homecoming, girl's powderpuff, girl's volleyball, marching band, football, girl's golf, boy's tennis, boys and girls cross country, the fall musical (Mamma Mia!), girl's and boy's soccer, and dancing with the stars which raised $2,500 for Riley's children hospital. The boy's tennis team (the Fab Five) went up to sectionals. While Aiden Hapner (12) was the second-best tennis player in the SAC this year. The girl's cross country team was able to advance all the way up to semi-state in Marion, Indiana this fall.

South Side Club's

Perusal we had a great variety of clubs at South Side this year which consisted of French club, Spanish club, Section k, Peacemakers, Philo, Robotics, E-Sports, Key club, and Lumino. Clubs  are a great opportunity for people who may not be interested in sports or even just want to make new friendships.

Winter Sports And Activities

This winter Southside had girl's and boy's basketball, the winter dance show, semi-formal, the winter play (Clue), a staff-student volleyball game that ended in a pie in the face, gymnastics, and winter guard. Senior basketball player, Justice Billingsley scored 44 points for the game against New Haven high school.

Senior Activities 

Wow! And just like that the class of 2023 has graduated. This year they had the powderpuff which the senior girls won. For the boy's they had a volleyball tournament against the staff, in which the students came from behind and won at the end. 

Spring Activities

The things that happened at Southside this spring were girls softball, boys baseball, boys and girls track, girls tennis, boys golf, boys volleyball which is new this year here at south. Grace Gillie (12) broke the school record by 6” with her jump of 11”.
