The Musician celebrates their longtime year round of playing for churches with rhythm, base, instrumental, and so much more from their talent to play among the congregation.

The church musicians are responsible in equipping God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. Also, admonish one another as a church family to encourage them by the rendition of beautiful music and its words.

“Playing for the church is a blessing for me because when I was young, I started to play the drums and got the hang of it to play on beat with the rest of the crew to make music for people to love and interact with the songs that we play for them,” Anthony Jenkins said.

Church musicians are entrusted with the responsibility of leading worship services and providing accompaniment for sermons, either as organists or by playing a variety of instruments within diverse and eclectic church bands.

“Music is the most important thing in my life to play for people even in church for the congregation to hear me sing and play my music that I make up for others to love and appreciate the gift that I have to play music, which is my talent,” Tonya Jones said.

In the scripture, Chronicles 5:13 creation is musical. Human music-making participates in the music of creation and reflects the order, beauty, and diversity of God's creation.

“Music plays a crucial role in evoking positive emotions and providing enjoyable experiences,” Shataya Perkins (12) said.

Music means everything to people that sounds relaxing and very soothing for them to listen to. The musicians show their talent of greatness to those that love and cherish their music that they play is their ability to consistently and doggedly work to improve, usually in tiny increments.

“Praising the lord in church with music is good to sing along with a crowd of people that are family to us and just having a great time,” Amariah Gentry (9) said.

Music has the power to convey and articulate a profound feeling of reverence and astonishment in the divine presence. Its purpose lies in guiding our minds towards God, rather than focusing on our own selves.
