FVD Technologies: Pioneering Investments in Technology

FVD Technologies stands as the investment arm founded by one of Türkiye's most distinguished technology investors and angel investors. Our journey through technology investing dates back to the early stages of the e-transformation wave in the 2000s. This era witnessed the Turkish Informatics Foundation's pivotal role as a major NGO in Türkiye, propelling the inception of e-ID solutions, igniting a profound wave of digitalization.

Originating as a digital business unit in collaboration with a multinational IT company, it evolved over the years into a part of TBV (Turkish Informatics Foundation) as a business unit. During the transition from the  IT company to the NGO, all investments made up to that point played a crucial role in the formation of E-Guven and invested in by the founder of TBV,; marking a significant milestone in our trajectory.

Recognizing the burgeoning significance of cybersecurity within the ICT landscape, our investors strategically directed their focus towards an Ankara-based company deeply involved in the public sector. This move aimed to nurture growth in Istanbul, laying the foundation for our investment in Biznet, thereby setting the stage for the establishment of a multinational cyber services operation.

Concurrently, strategic share swaps transpired with two successful venture companies, rendering our investors minority stakeholders in Avez, an e-learning platform, and Agito, an insurance application software provider, both under Lidya Ventures.

Venturing into the realm of SIM cards, telecommunication, and emergent technologies like e-SIM in the early 2010s, FVD Technologies invested in a startup founded by two enterprising individuals, culminating in the establishment of MTMRFZ.

Continuing our strategic growth, a governance organization—FVD Forward Technology Services Investments, commonly known as FVD Technologies—was formed to oversee the diverse portfolio of companies under our control.

Amidst our pursuit of new opportunities in cybersecurity, an investment and acquisition were made in a boutique firm known as Invento, bolstering our presence in this crucial domain.

Emphasizing inorganic growth as a fundamental facet of our investment strategy within the cybersecurity sector, a collaboration with a prestigious private equity firm in Istanbul led to the successful merger of Biznet and Securrent. This transformative move gave rise to Cyberwise, which subsequently expanded by acquiring the rapidly burgeoning company, Innovera, the following year.

Our proactive involvement in the venture landscape saw yet another investment, this time in a supply chain financing company known as Faturalab, marking our entry into the fintech sphere.

With Fusion Core being the foundation of ICSFusion platform provided real time visibility for assets about threats, vulnerabilities and cyber risk across Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) and OT environments.  It unifies all threat environment into a single risk-driven view while strengthing the environment..
