Empowering Leaders Across Massachusetts Districts
What is Fuse?
Too often, some of the best ideas and strategies get stuck behind the closed doors of classrooms, schools, or districts. The Fuse Fellowship Program strives to share, implement, evaluate, and scale blended learning as a vehicle to personalized learning by convening educators who are passionate about this work and committed to breaking down silos.
The name “Fuse” is intended to capture both the igniting of a movement around personalized learning and the intentional collaboration of like-minded educators. This two-year program:
- Identifies enthusiastic and skilled practitioners and prepares them to lead a shift away from traditional instruction and toward personalized learning.
- Catalyzes districts to assess their readiness to make this shift, craft a vision for blended and personalized learning, and identify instructional priorities.
- Provides high-quality embedded coaching to early adopter teachers, growing the district’s internal capacity.
- Creates an integrated network of teachers, Fellows, coaches, and administrators in a region who can continue to support and push each other after the Fellowship.
