Hello! My name is Wendy Wang. My students call my Ms. Wendy or Ms. Wang, and I am so excited to be your 5th grade teacher in Room 27 this year at Patterson Elementary! I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this amazing school community and to work with such bright, curious, and kind students.

A little about my education: I graduated from San Jose State University with a Master Degree in Teaching Education and have always had a passion for helping kids learn and grow.

My previous teaching experience was in a private school in Santa Clara called Monticello Academy. By that time, I was a full-time kindergarten teacher. During the student teaching of my teaching credential program, I was placed in 1st&2nd combo class in Leitch Elementary, and 4th grade class here in Patterson Elementary, both here in Fremont.

I love spending time with my wonderful family for traveling, cooking and making arts. I have two wonderful girls Julia and Joanna who are 7 years and 10 years. They grew up with me since I was a preschool teacher. They understand and support for what I am working with the kids.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy cooking, swimming, organizing, and making fun arts!
I like meditation when I was deeply creating my projects, which calm me down and refresh my mind.
