About Me...

My name is Stephanie Terrasas and I will be your 7th grade math teacher for the 2023-2024 academic year. This is my 9th year teaching in Fremont Unified and my 15th year teaching overall. I am proud to say that thirteen of those fifteen years have been spent teaching math or a combination of math/science.

I am a product of Fremont Unified; I attended Hopkins Junior High and Mission San Jose High School. I received my Bachelor's Degree from San Diego State University and my Teaching Credential from CSU, Sacramento. I have taught everything from second grade, Pre-Algebra, Life Science, Honors Algebra, Physical Science, Math Essentials, Algebra Readiness, 7th Grade Common Core Math and 7th Grade Accelerated Math. 

This year will be my second year as part of a collaboration project between FUSD, The Lawrence Hall of Science at UC Berkeley and the Silicon Valley Math Initiative (SVMI). I will incorporate learned strategies, routines and procedures from this project in class. 

Please note I have high expectations for my students and encourage them to do their best. I look forward to working with my students and their families this year!
