Open during morning (9:50-10:10) and afternoon recess (1:10-1:20. Lunch open for 4th and 5th grade (11:10-11:40).
About Me
Hi! My name is Warda Elmashni, and I am the librarian at Mission San Jose Elementary School. I love being a librarian because I get to spend my days surrounded by books and amazing students. The MSJE Library is a place where students are excited to visit—to ask questions, discover new worlds through reading and learning, make friends during our recess activities, and enjoy a space that is warm, welcoming, and, of course, has a touch of purple. :) I enjoy every part of my job, from storytime and book talks to interacting with students each day. One of my favorite parts is talking with students about the books they are reading and helping them continue their lifelong journey of loving books and reading. I feel incredibly lucky to spend every day in the library, sharing the joy of reading with our wonderful school community!
