Hello! My name is Aly Gerdes. I have a secondary English Teaching Credential from SJSU and a Master of Arts in Teaching. I teach ELD 2 and English 3D  with cultural enrichment, linguistic rigor, and some goofiness along the way. My goal is to provde students with the neccesary tools to rapdily increas their literacy skills in order to become more fluent in English. Likewise, become strong test-takers for the ELPAC. Above that, I wish for my students to be respectul and honest people! Our students are the future & I do not take the blessing of teaching them lightly. I believe deeply that every kid who walks through my door is a person before a student and I look forward to being one of your child's mentors, educators, and biggest fans!
