• We will continue talking about rules, expectations, lining up, routines, transitions (cleaning up), and Hands to Self -- making good choices, problem solving, and recess rules. Practice makes progress! 

Language Arts: Benchmark Unit 1 Week 3 -- All tests are PRACTICE for unit 1 on Friday (Comprehension and Spelling tests)

• Short o sound -- examples (box, cots) 

• Sight words

• Listen and retell key details

• Use illustrations to describe key details

• Text evidence

• Build vocabulary

• Text Features: glossary 

• Common and Proper nouns

Math Expressions: Unit 1

• addition partners, switch partners, number patterns, and math mountains

• Lessons 1-9, Review pages (Found in our classroom textbook ONLY)

• Test Unit 1 on Thursday! Counting, adding, math mountains, partners and switch partners 

Writing:

• Student of the week writing (Informational) 

• Journal (narrative)
