Class overview
I teach the whole child. Not only do I teach them their academics; I also teach them about mindfulness, character building and having a growth mindset. My boys and I are dyslexic. I know what it means to struggle as a child, adult and a parent. If anything it has taught me that hard work and perserverence pays off. I will take your child where they are and move them beyond. My expectations are rigorous but gentle. I am silly, bubbly, warm, caring and kind. I like to make learning fun and motivating. If your child leaves my class with only learning 2 things, I hope it is to have a "Just Keep Swimming" attitude (From Finding Dory) and to always be KIND. Both qualities will get them far in life and the world needs more kindness.
