This year we will be analyzing literature and informational texts, writing essays, and working on grammar and vocabulary skills. We will be reading selections from the Literature textbook, novels, and other teacher-selected texts. Students will also be expected to complete and present independent projects and to participate in class discussions. 

I have been at FUSD since 1996 and look forward to sharing my love of literature with you this year.
