Hi my name is Yessica Angulo and I am excited to start the year with you. I am looking forward to a year of fun, and adventure! I can’t wait to learn about you; but first let me tell you a little about myself. 

I was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. I came to California when I was 4 years old. I graduated from Cal State San Marcos University, and then a few years later I received my Masters in Education-Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology. In my 13 years of teaching, I began in 3rd grade for one year and 5th, 6th and 7th since then. This new school year will be my 14th year of teaching. I live in Vista with my husband, my daughter, two sons, and our sweet dog Estrella. 

There is so much that I am looking forward to this year. Fifth grade is a year for putting all of the academic pieces together. You will be preparing to say goodbye to elementary and getting yourself ready for middle school.  Welcome to an awesome 5th grade year!
