Hello! My name is Ms. Stagnitta and I am the Special Education Teacher for 7th and 8th Grade at San Onofre School this year. I was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Inclusive Education at SUNY Brockport and my Master's degree in Literacy Education at Roberts Wesleyan College, both located in upstate, Rochester, NY. I moved to California to work for the FUESD in 2016 and have been working as an Education Specialist in the district for the past 6 years. I have worked as a Special Education Teacher for a total of 13 years. Throughout my career, I have supported students with IEPs and a variety of disabilities in many settings ranging from grades 1-8. In my free time, I enjoy running, cross-training, spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, traveling, art, and hiking. My passion and mission in education is to help students to achieve personal and academic goals, to find and embrace their strengths, and to develop their areas of need. I am looking forward to a new and successful school year!
