It is my pleasure to be your English Language Arts teacher this year! The Grade 7 and Grade 8 curriculums offer an integrated program of reading and writing skills, vocabulary building activities, and applications designed to strengthen critical thinking skills and promote clear and effective oral communication. Students will analyze a variety of literary genres and informational texts and use the writing process to write to a specific purpose.
I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you. As we begin this school year, I want to thank you for your flexibility and understanding as students adapt to new routines and expectations. I appreciate your support of your child's education and I am confident that together we can have a great year. Go Bulldogs!
