I'm originally from Iowa, but I've been in San Diego since August of 2010.  While I miss looking at the snow during the winter time,  I don't miss the cold.  Prior to working at La Paloma, I worked as a reading intervention teacher at Live Oak, as a pod-school teacher, and as a substitute teacher in Poway.  I love to read, draw, and spend time outdoors. On weekends you can find me spending time with friends and family.  I am also really looking forward to this school year and getting to know my students!
