Second EuroBiotech School in Albania

The Department of Biotechnology of the University of Tirana, Albania is organizing the “Biotechnology Week-2022” in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences of Albania (Unit for Biotechnology & Genetics), the University of Ioannina, Greece, and with the support of EBTNA-European Biotechnology Thematic Network Association, MAGI Group for Diagnostics of Rare Genetic Diseases, Italy, University “Ben Gurion of Negev”, Israel, and other third local parties during 17-21st of October 2022.
The “Biotech Week” will be composed of two events, the 2nd EuroBiotech School, during which MSc students will be tought on innovative biotech applications, and the 4rth ICAB-2022 International Conference to be held at the University of Ioannina, Greece.
AIM
2nd EuroBiotech School aims the Internationalisation of the activities of the Department of Biotechnology of the University of Tirana, Albania offering students an valuable training in Advanced Biotechnology Topics related to Medical and Environmental Applications.
OBJECTIVES
· Organizing of the 2ndEuroBiotech Training School in Medical and Environmental Biotechnology for MSc and PhD students of the Department of Biotechnology of Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana.
· Organizing of a Practical Course on Medical Biotechnology Applications near MAGI laboratories in Tirana.
· Organizing of a Scientific Trip for in situ sampling and analysis of water samples toxicity using advanced technics and methodologies
