You should start each class at the designated time by going to your teacher's Google Classroom page. From there, you will most often go to a Google Meet or you may have posted assignments.

Distance learning can be an intimidating concept to grasp, especially when you have to take a crash course! The CDC has provided a quick and easy to digest video for understanding Distance Learning.

Using Google Meet
Google Meet is a free online web-conferencing tool that teachers will use for face to face instruction, tutoring, and office hours. Please know that the Cole Admin team has required teachers to record all Google Meets in order to post these to Google Classroom for students who are absent.

Khan Academy is the ultimate distance learning website with free resources for just about any subject and any age group (yes, even adults!). This resource is great for extending the learning and/or brushing up on topics and concepts to help your students with their classwork. Students can find the Khan Academy icon in Classlink to access.

Access educational videos for your child from home. Students can sign in by going to the ClassLink page and clicking on Discover Education.
Take a Virtual Field Trip
With so many great places of learning having to close, physically going on a field trip is impossible. Thankfully, many of the best museums, zoos, National Parks and landmarks have set up virtual field trips that require only the Internet to access!
