English Language Learners make up a very special population of students at FSDB.
Currently there are 33 students in both the deaf and blind departments receiving ESOL services. They represent 17 different languages and cultures!!

Mi nombre es Miosotis Cotto-López. Soy puertorriqueña, vivo en Wesley Chapel Florida desde el 2017. Vivo con mi esposo, mi hijo, y mi perrita Catalina. ¿A qué me dedico? Trabajo como intérprete de Lenguaje de Señas desde hace catorce años. En mi tiempo libre además de ser intérprete, doy asesorías a padres y maestros bajo el programa Disciplina Positiva, y también hago counseling Adleriano con adultos.
¿Qué hago en FSDB? Vengo a trabajar con ustedes! Estoy haciendo un internado para la Universidad Adler y qué mejor lugar que con la comunidad de padres ESOL del FSDB. Tengo muchos deseos de conocerles y ver cómo les puedo ayudar.

Greetings, my name is Miosotis Cotto-López. I am Puerto Rican, living in Wesley Chapel, Florida, since 2017. I live with my husband, my son, and my dog Catalina. What do I do for a living? I have worked as a Sign Language interpreter for fourteen years. Besides being an interpreter, I am a Positive Discipline parent/teacher educator. I also do Adlerian counseling with adults.
What am I doing at FSDB? I am here to work with you! I'm doing an internship for Adler University. What better place than with the FSDB ESOL parent community? I'm eager to meet you and see how I can help you.
